Focusing on the KAG’s current exhibitions, programs include art camps, interactive tours, activities and workshops that encourage self-expression and experimentation while learning about art techniques, basic design concepts and a variety of media. Join us for a workshop focused on building grassroots community change through craftivism! 

Craftivism is the practice of using creative expression to strengthen our collective voice, engage our imaginations, and deepen our community organizing work for food sovereignty, affordable housing, and climate justice. 

We'll create buttons and patches that you can take home with you or donate to be distributed at an upcoming Craftivism exhibition on the Open Gallery wall.

Materials and supplies are provided, and folks are welcome to bring their own materials and craftivism projects too! This is a free drop-in event, and everyone is welcome.

This workshop is co-hosted by Propolis Cooperative Housing Society, the Kamloops Food Policy Council and the Kamloops Art Gallery.
