Join KAG art instructors Charlie Napcolors and Jyelle Vogel for a fun, hands-on afternoon of papier mâché prop-making in preparation for the upcoming Tomatoes and Friends Parade at the Tomato Festival at the Kamloops Farmers’ Market. 

The Tomatoes and Friends Parade will take place on Saturday, September 6, as part of the Tomato Festival, celebrating and supporting local food and community spirit. Join us to bring joy and energy through creativity and self-expression, and to help inspire conversation and connection around local food and culture. 

The Tomato Festival encourages Kamloopsians to grow and enjoy locally grown tomatoes whether from your own yard, the farmers’ market, or one of the many local restaurants and cafes that support local in-season agriculture. Celebrate our local love of tomatoes and raise awareness about local food security and food sovereignty.   
 
Tomato Festival dates for 2025 are September 6 through 13.
