Focusing on the KAG’s current exhibitions, programs include art camps, interactive tours, activities and workshops that encourage self-expression and experimentation while learning about art techniques, basic design concepts and a variety of media. Our events include exhibition opening receptions, fundraisers to inspire you and special happenings in the Gallery Store.

Please join us at the Gallery to celebrate the opening of Alicia Henry: Witnessing, curated by Daina Augaitis, and Autumn Christopher: Astral curated by Craig Willms.

Exhibiting artists will be in attendance, along with curators Daina Augaitis and Craig Willms.

Following the tour, we will have a casual reception in the Studios and Atrium with music compliments of Ronan McGrath as well as beverages by donation. Everyone is welcome. We encourage you to bring a friend!

Through stories, statistics, and conversation, Krystyna will share the origins and growth of the Kamloops Art Gallery collection. Participants will have the opportunity to explore our collections storage and our summer exhibition, Reading the Land: Ten Years of Collecting, and be encouraged to ask questions.

Slow Looking with Euijung McGillis—Exploring Jin-me Yoon: Here Elsewhere Other Hauntings
