Art & Conversation: Rajni Perera, Futures

Tuesday, March 31
10:00 to 11:00 am
Open to KALS members

Join us at the Kamloops Art Gallery for an interactive guided tour of Rajni Perera: Futures and engage in lively explorations of some of the relevant themes with KAG Education and Public Programs Director Kristen Gardner.

Futures is an exhibition by Sri Lankan Canadian artist Rajni Perera that responds to an uncertain future shaped by climate change and growing social inequities. Inspired by science fiction, Perera’s paintings and sculptures depict dystopic realms, where mutations and adaptations emerge as necessary tools for survival. The exhibition offers a vivid and unsettling vision of our world, and hopeful possibilities for better futures.

This program is offered in collaboration with the Kamloops Adult Learners’ Society (KALS). You must be a member of KALS to participate.

Registration is available online at  kals.ca/registration/
