Art is for everybody.
The Kamloops Art Gallery is deeply committed to connecting people with art.
We know that through art, we develop understanding—of ourselves, each other, and of viewpoints that conflict with our own. We build social resilience and community. We learn how to have difficult conversations, to disagree with someone and continue to want to share space with them, a skill that is becoming critically endangered.
We believe that art is for everybody, and it is our mission to lead community engagement with art and experiences that open doors.
Your donation ensures that we can provide support for artists to create, space for them to share, and opportunities for audiences to engage. With your support, we are able to offer pathways for people of all ages and abilities to develop the skills and confidence to become artists and art lovers themselves.
Your donation to our General Operating Fund supports everything we do, from paying artists an equitable wage, to employing local artists and graduates from Thomson Rivers University’s Bachelor of Fine Arts Program, to offering free and accessibly-priced programming for participants of all ages and abilities.

PLEASE NOTE: We’ve transitioned to using Zeffy, a Canadian platform that supports non-profits by offering their services free of charge and covering all of our transaction fees, saving the Gallery an estimated $12,000 annually.
Zeffy is funded through contributions made by donors at checkout - these are 100% optional. See the diagram below for how to opt-out.
