Are you an artist or educator seeking flexible, occasional work? Are you comfortable working with both children and adults?
The Kamloops Art Gallery is seeking an Art Instructor to conduct art making workshops and guided exhibition tours for school and studio programs. The Art Instructor provides educational and enjoyable art experiences for participants of all ages and abilities.
This is a casual, part-time position with a variable schedule based on our programming needs. Hours are not guaranteed and will fluctuate throughout the year depending on scheduled school programs, workshops, camps, and other education and public programs.
The Kamloops Art Gallery offers a team-focused work environment with an opportunity to learn more about contemporary and historical art. Staff at the Gallery are committed to working hard together, doing an exceptional job, and realizing the benefits of a job well done.
Wage: $20 to $21 per hour, depending on experience
Employee status: Permanent, part-time
