Visual Memory Books

Saturday, April 18
1:30 to 3:30 pm
FREE, all ages

Join us in our studios for a welcoming, family-friendly workshop to create your own visual memory book.

We will transform objects and ephemera – photographs, notes, drawings, scraps of fabric, found images – into handmade accordion books using collage, drawing, and writing. Together, we’ll explore how different materials can tell a story and capture memories, moments, and imagination.

No experience is needed, just bring your curiosity and a few meaningful or interesting items to work with. We will provide all the other materials!

This workshop is inspired by Bree Apperley: Slug Eggs, currently on view in The Cube. We encourage you to spend some time exploring the gallery during your visit!
