Take part in this papier-mâché workshop centered around the European folklore of Krampus. Come prepared for a fun, engaging, and mucky time creating your own costume element inspired by the ancient horned companion to Saint Nicholas.
Participants will learn how to build an armature from cardboard, build out the shape with papier- mâché, and finish by layering on coloured tissue paper.
Offered in collaboration with Kamloops Krampus, the intention of this workshop is to share creative expression and build community excitement for the Krampus parade on December 6th.
Designed for participants of all ages and abilities. Children under 14 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
Bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to get a little messy while you unleash your personal Krampus style. All materials will be provided.
