Legacy Unveiled: Black History in Kamloops

Saturdays, 1:00 to 4:00 pm
November 16, 23, 30
All ages, FREE

Join us in our studios to work together towards enriching the contemporary and historical narrative of Black experience in Kamloops.

Designed as multi-generational storytelling workshops, participants can work independently, in pairs, and in groups to share their histories, personal memories, imaginings, dreams, and experiences through drawing, printmaking, photography, poetry, and prose.  Participants will be invited to share their completed works with the public through a small publication and an exhibition on the Open Gallery.

Free and open to Black children, youth, adults, and seniors currently living in Kamloops. All skill levels are welcome, materials and support will be available.

This program is offered in collaboration with the Unique Get Together Society.
