Work with the Gallery this summer! We are seeking an enthusiastic young person to join our team as a Collections Technician from July 7 to August 29, 2025.

The Collections Technician will help organize, document, and care for the Gallery’s collection of more than 3,200 works of art. Reporting to the Collections Manager/Registrar, the Collections Technician will work directly with the Gallery’s extensive art collection. The Collections Technician will focus on completing object condition reports, collection inventories, updating catalogue records, and collection care.

This would be an interesting job for someone who enjoys the arts, museums, or library studies, loves to be organized, and thrives on working both with their hands and on computers. If you are detailed oriented, have great time management and self-organization skills, and are a good communicator, please apply.

This temporary, full-time positions is funded through the Canada Summer Jobs programs, so you must satisfy all the following requirements:

be aged between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the job, July 7, 2025.
have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN); and
be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, or a person who has been granted refugee status in Canada.

Wage: $20.80 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay

Employee status: Temporary, full-time
(8-week term, July 7 to August 29, 2025, 35 hours a week)
