Tour & Tissue Paper Collage Workshop

Join us at the Kamloops Art Gallery for an interactive tour of ᑕᑯᒃᓴᐅᔪᒻᒪᕆᒃ Double Vision followed by a hands-on workshop in our studios. KAG Art Instructor Jyelle Vogel will lead explorations of the materials, techniques, and themes of works by three artists, Jessie Oonark, Janet Kigusiuq, and Victoria Mamnguqsualuk with a focus on Kigusiuq’s tissue paper collages.

Back in the studio, experiment with tissue paper collage using Kigusiuq’s techniques! Explore relationships between representation and abstraction as you build colourful compositions by layering cut and torn tissue to create your own abstracted landscape.

No previous experience is necessary, all materials are provided.
