In light of the recent Canada Post strike, the Government of Canada has heeded the call from organizations around Canada and extended the deadline for charitable donations for the 2024 tax year until 28 February 2025.  

Your contributions are instrumental in helping us deliver impactful exhibitions, educational initiatives, and cultural enrichment to our community. With this extension, we hope you will seize the opportunity to make a lasting difference and help us further our mission to celebrate and foster the arts. 
 
The post-pandemic years have been challenging for the arts community. As Michelle Chawla (Director and CEO of Canada Council of the Arts) lamented recently, arts organizations and artists across Canada are struggling.
 
The arts and culture sector employs close to a million people while contributing $60 billion towards Canada’s GDP. A vibrant arts sector attracts business investments, draws in tourists, and impacts the overall quality of life of the residents of the community.
