Programs & Events
Our programs and events offer opportunities for people of all ages to learn how art connects us with our daily lives. Focusing on the KAG’s current exhibitions, programs include art camps, interactive tours, activities and workshops that encourage self-expression and experimentation while learning about art techniques, basic design concepts and a variety of media. Our events include exhibition opening receptions, fundraisers to inspire you and special happenings in the Gallery Store.

Each week, participants have the opportunity to learn about new mediums and techniques for art making.
Guided by one of our art instructors and our intern, participants will be encouraged to become more comfortable with various materials and styles in the hopes of opening new doors of creativity.
We are a safe space that welcomes EVERYONE aged 13 to 23, as well as people of all skill levels and backgrounds.
This program was created by the KAG Summer Interns and is generously sponsored by the Edwina and Paul Heller Memorial Fund with the Vancouver Foundation.
Guided by our art instructors, participants will be encouraged to become comfortable with sharing what they see, feel and think about art and to experiment with different ways of creating artwork.
Participants of all skill levels are welcome and no previous experience is necessary. The content of this program is designed for participants aged 14+ but you are welcome to bring your younger friends and children with you.
All materials are provided.
No registration required.
Generously supported by the Jann LM Bailey Legacy Fund.
Young Peoples' Drawing Club is offered as one of our new School Programs for Homeschoolers and Alternative Learners. These programs are informed by the new BC Curriculum and encourage student-led, inquiry-based learning.
Parents, guardians and younger siblings are welcome to join in, too!
Does your child enjoy teaching? Encourage them to sign up as a Special Helper! Every month, we invite one of our Special Helpers to join our instructor to assist in leading the group.
