We are OPEN - Covid-19 and Vaccine requirements

The Kamloops Art Gallery remains open to the public and our Covid Safety Plan is in place to ensure the public is safe when visiting.

Safety protocols include the availability of hand sanitizer in public spaces, ensuring social distancing, maintaining cleaning protocols, and the wearing of masks by all staff and visitors.

We welcome you to visit the Gallery and note that as of August 20, 2021 public health orders, the wearing of a mask at the Gallery is again mandatory in all public areas for people aged 12+.

Proof of vaccination is NOT required for General Admission to the Kamloops Art Gallery, nor for participation in programs and events with less than 50 people in attendance.

As of September 13, however, visitors must have received one dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine in order to participate in on-site programs and Gallery events where more than 50 people are in attendance. As of October 24, visitors must have received two doses.

To participate in programs or events with 50 or more people, visitors from BC or other Canadian provinces or territories must show:

    BC Vaccine Card (for BC residents)
    Provincial/territorial officially recognized vaccine record (for non-BC residents)
    Valid government photo ID (for visitors aged 19+)

To participate in programs or events with 50 or more people, International Visitors must show:

    Proof of vaccination they used to enter Canada (such as ArriveCAN)
